Garden Square Shopping Centre converted an empty shop into a Santa’s grotto throughout December and all the money raised was donated to the hospice which is based at Gillison Close in the town.

Garden House’s head of fundraising Karen Rabjohn said: “Thank you so much for the opportunity, not only of raising such a great amount, but for being able to raise the profile of the hospice in the town.

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Garden Square Shopping Centre and we look forward to continuing to do so in 2015.”
