A charitable organisation has been spreading Christmas cheer during a visit to a riding school for disabled children.
Letchworth Garden City and Baldock Lions Club presented three cheques to the Garden House Hospice, Keech Hospice Care and Riding for the Disabled Association when visiting Courtlands Riding Stables in Todds Green near Stevenage.
A total of £3,750 was raised at the Lions’ annual charity fireworks display in Letchworth GC in November, to be shared equally between the three charities.
Children at the riding club were also treated to a visit from Father Christmas, who rode in on a horse-drawn carriage.
