Letchworth saw the return of its Food & Drink Festival at the weekend, which turned the town centre into a culinary and entertainment hub.

The event attracted thousands of visitors from both Letchworth and surrounding towns and villages who were keen to enjoy a variety of food and beverages in the sunshine.

More than 70 food and drink stalls were dispersed across the town, with Spanish, Turkish, Indian, Thai and Greek delicacies – as well as refreshing beverages from brewery stalls, prosecco vans and cocktail stands.

Letchworth BID Manager Patricia Saunders said: “As with all festivals and events that the BID organises in Letchworth town centre, our ultimate aim is to present visitors with a family-fun festival that is free to access and caters to all.

“On behalf of Letchworth BID and all businesses who make up the BID, I would like to thank everyone for coming and for their continued support of our town and local businesses.”
