Letchworth Festival – which is run by volunteers and takes place from June 13 until June 28 – is gathering momentum with more than 100 events booked for the festival fortnight.

There will be music, activities and stalls to suit all tastes and a festival parade on the opening day, with two-hour road closures from 9.30am to 11.30am around the Broadway Gardens, Eastcheap and the station end of Broadway. This will also feature a the Open Art Competition, showcasing ‘live’ art on Broadway Walk as part of the grand open day.

The final weekend has a pirate and princesses themed children’s event in The Wynd, including theatre shows, singing, dancing, gardening, bouncy castles and much more.

For the last chance to get an event publicised in the programme, get in touch with the organisers by March 23 by emailing contact@letchworthfestival.org.
