A COMMUNITY choir will be singing their hearts out for victim’s of the riots tomorrow (Saturday).
Letchworth City Chorus have decided to organise an impromptu concert in Letchworth GC town centre to help raise money for those who have lots their homes or livelihoods as a result of the criminal disorder which has swept the nation.
The fundraiser, named ‘Music for Community Spirit’, will see the choir performing in Leys Square between 2pm and 4pm.
Tony Ridgeway-Cole, City Chorus’ musical director, said: “Just looking at the events that have been happening it’s heart-breaking to see.
“We need to bring back the community spirit so we decided to get together and do what we can.”
