A COMMUNITY choir is asking men to come forward and see if they can be the next Pavarotti while raising funds for injured troops.
City Chorus will be holding a men’s singing workshop at Letchworth Free Church in Norton Way South today (Saturday) in a fundraiser for Help for Heroes.
Musical director and founder Tony Ridgway-Cole, who will be conducting and teaching on the day, said: “It’s not the sort of thing men necessary go to but just come along and have some fun with City Chorus.”
The event runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and costs 5 per person including refreshments. All profits will go to the British charity who helps armed forces personnel injured in current conflicts.
