A 62-year-old man who admitted a racially-motivated assault in Letchworth has been ordered to pay more than £2,400.
Richard Brown, of Pennine Rise in Flitwick, admitted carrying out the assault on November 18 last year when he appeared before Stevenage magistrates.
Chairman of the bench Rosemary Bolton ordered him to pay a £1,200 fine, £1,000 compensation to the victim, £85 costs and £120 surcharge by Monday, June 25.
