Lent is just around the corner

There are study courses and other events organised. An informal discussion group meet on Friday afternoons from March 3 to discuss Christian issues over a cup of tea or coffee. The first meeting will be at Helen Beavis at 48 Horn Hill, preschool children

There are study courses and other events organised. An informal discussion group meet on Friday afternoons from March 3 to discuss Christian issues over a cup of tea or coffee. The first meeting will be at Helen Beavis' at 48 Horn Hill, preschool children are welcome, but all ages are invited. At Church there will be a Holy Communion service at 8pm on Ash Wednesday, March 1. This will be followed by five Lenten Lectures on the following five Sunday evenings during Evensong in the Lady Chapel at 6pm. The first entitled The Devil, will be given by Rev Ruth Lampard, assistant priest at St George's Church, Letchworth.
