A sort of Bob - a - job (for those old enough to remember) but it will not cost you anything. Letchworth Garden City Rotary Club wants to help you in your home with jobs that that are beyond your physical ability. On Saturday, May 13, volunteers will be available to help SG6 postcodes only with any odd jobs around the house or garden, i.e. house cleaning, minor repairs, running errands, simple DIY jobs, cleaning inside windows etc... If you have a job that needs doing, ask for a registration form from Age Concern Centre, Manor Court, 26b Bancroft, Hitchin or ring Trudi Harrington on 01462 446095, or call the Rotary hotline on 07734 385417 between 9am and noon and 2pm - 7pm. The Club will work in teams of at least two people and will bring with them special materials or equipment. Rotary will be pleased to discuss any aspect of the day with you prior to their visit. Sounds a great initiative by this Rotary Club - I hope they get a lot of genuine requests for help.
