BORO expect Lawrie Wilson to be back in full training in a few weeks after making 'encouraging' progress following breaking his leg and dislocating his ankle against Rushden & Diamonds in August.
Speaking in the Boro programme for Saturday's 2-1 win over Workington, club physio Paul Dando said: "Lawrie is now only a few weeks from resuming full training and his recent progress has been extremely encouraging; he is regaining sharpness and endurance and is building confidence with repetitive contact exercises to the ankle.
"I would just like to reiterate how hard Lawrie has worked on a consistent basis. It is not easy staying motivated for six months when you know it's such a long haul, so credit to him as a professional and an individual.
