Two lanes have been shut on the A1(M) this morning after a coach fire.

Fire crews were called shortly before 8am to the southbound carriageway between Junction 6 for Welwyn and Junction 4 for Hatfield.

All passengers were safely evacuated and two lanes shut while firefighters battled the blaze.

Recovery has since arrived and one lane is still shut, but the motorway is expected to be fully reopen.

Delays remain in the area.
