A lane has been closed on the A1(M) near Baldock Services after a collision involving a dead deer.
Emergency services were called to a section of the motorway just south of Junction 10 at about 11.37am after a car collided with a Muntjac – which was already dead – on the northbound carriageway.
Police are no longer on the scene, but Herts County Council’s Highways team are making the road safe.
There were no reported injuries to the driver of the vehicle.
