Dagenham and Redbridge midfielder Joss Labadie has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association over an allegation of biting Stevenage defender Ronnie Henry on Saturday.
Dagenham won the Sky Bet League Two encounter 1-0, but the incident late in the clash overshadowed the game.
Last season 24-year-old Labadie served a 10-match ban and was fined £2,000 for biting an opponent while he was playing for Torquay. He has until 6pm on March 30 to appeal the charge.
UPDATE: The club was not prepared to answer questions about the incident at a press conference today.
