Firefighters were called to the Japanese Koi Company in Hitchin Road, Henlow, last night when nearby ditches began to overflow with water from melted ice and snow.
Water flooded the car park and also went into the large pond containing the Koi carp.
Staff helped firefighters pump out the water and clear debris that had threatened the pond.
The fish remained unharmed but will be checked for stress from the very cold water.
