A 20-year-old man has sustained serious head injuries in a knife attack at a rave on the outskirts of Letchworth overnight.

The incident – in which police have described the man as being “attacked with a knife” – happened in a field off Baldock Lane between 1am and 2am, and officers have launched an appeal for information and witnesses to come forward.
