A CHARITY walk raising funds to beat ovarian cancer will be held in a historic stately home for the first time next month.
The inaugural Walk for One Million will take place in the grounds of Knebworth House on Sunday, October 7, in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer.
The 10km course starts and finishes at Knebworth Barns and is open to men and women aged 16 and over.
An afternoon tea will also be held after the walk with former Blue Peter and This Morning television presenter Sarah Greene attending.
Karen Livermore, editor of Woman, a magazine backing the event, said: “Together we can really make a difference to so many women and their family and friends who have been touched by ovarian cancer.”
