A MAN has been jailed today (Monday) after pleading guilty to three counts of animal cruelty.
Brendan Rogers, 33, was arrested on January 10 after police were called by a member of the public to a car park on Chells Way in Stevenage and found eight dead kittens and two dead cats in his car.
Rogers, from St Albans, was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison when he appeared at Stevenage Magistrates Court.
