Stevenage goalscorer Ben Kennedy feels his strike which sealed Boro’s 2-0 win at Luton Town was the best goal he has ever scored…with his right foot.
The left-footed Northern Irishman found the top corner with his weaker foot in the 85th minute to wrap up the victory, Stevenage’s eighth in nine Sky Bet League Two matches.
After the game he told the Comet: “I don’t score many goals with my right foot so that’s probably the best goal I’ve scored with my right foot.
“I very rarely use it, but I used it today and it paid off.
“I picked the ball on the left, came inside and just hit it, I looked up and it was in top bins, the next minute I was in the corner celebrating with the fans.”
