Three pals who have embarked on a bike ride across Europe to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support have already travelled 760 miles from Istanbul, through Bulgaria and Serbia onto Croatia.
Thom Clark, James Hart and Mike Tapp have nicknamed their marathon trip back to Hitchin The Kebab Run.
Thom said: “We met a top bike mechanic in Sofia called Illian, then cycled 110 miles in 13 gruelling hours.
“We were too tired to eat after!”
