Members of the Grange Youth Club, on Pelican Way in Letchworth GC, baked cakes, brewed tea and played the music of yesteryear to entertain their visitors on Satuday.
Their guests also brought along pictures that show what the area was like in the past and spoke about their memories.
Speaking of the benefits of the new youth club, 16-year-old Grange resident Ryan Squire said: "The youth club is a great idea and is used by kids of mixed ages. It keeps people off the streets and gives them somewhere to go.
