The finalists for this year’s Comet Community Awards will be revealed tomorrow (Friday) with a panel of judges whittling down entries this week.
The annual event aims to recognise inspirational people living and working in and around Comet country, with categories including Young Achiever, Service to the Community and Lifetime Achievement.
Representatives from sponsors of each of the 12 categories have been judging entries at the Comet’s offices in Stevenage alongside editor Darren Isted, as they draw up a shortlist of names for each award.
Visit www.thecomet24.co.uk at 11am tomorrow (Friday) to see the shortlisted nominees, who will all be invited to an awards ceremony at the Icknield Centre in Letchworth GC on Friday, May 16.
