ADVICE on getting a job or choosing study options will be on hand at an open day this Saturday.

Connexions Stevenage One Stop Shop, based at Bowes Lyon Centre will be opening its doors from 11am to 4pm to young people, their parents and their carers, to show them what the centre has to offer.

There will be personal advisors available to provide support, guidance, and information and the centre is open to 13-19-year-olds (up to 25 with disabilities or learning difficulties).

Andrew Simmons, Connexions Hertfordshire chief executive, said: "Connexions personal advisors work to support you through an exciting but high-pressured time in your life.

"They understand you and your needs and will give you confidential advice on a range of issues."

The centre is open for drop-in from 3pm to 8pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and 2pm to 7pm Wednesday. Call 01438 749147 for more details.
