Arsenal teenager Jack Jebb is set to rejoin Stevenage today.

The Football League loan window closes tonight at 5pm.

Manager Graham Westley revealed at a press conference that Jebb will be returning to the club for his second loan spell. The 19-year-old was on loan at Boro earlier this season before he picked up a knee injury in training, forcing him to miss 13 weeks.

In recent weeks both parties had stated a mutual desire for a reunion, with Westley today adding that is will be ‘great’ to have Jebb back in the squad.

“He’s a wonderfully talented centre midfield player,” he said. “We didn’t see a lot of him when he was here on loan last time because he was getting himself together and trying to find the level and trying to get used to men’s football.

“Over the course of the time here, although we didn’t see much of him and he got injured in a training game, he was prodcuing some wonderful training performances and I was seeing him grow and develop all the time.”

He added: “It’ll be great to have him back; he’ll bring dynamism and quality on the ball in the middle of the park and, with eight games left, it’s a great opportunity for him to shine if he earns his way into the side.”
