Members of a jazz quintet are delighted their concert to raise money for a Hitchin church was a huge hit on Friday.
House of Five performed music written by talented singer, composer and pianist Jayne Mason at a fundariser for St Faith’s Church on Woolgrove Road.
The band, consisting of Rob Le Plar on guitar, Paul Jolly on saxophone, Steve Seal on drums, Pete Myatt on double bass, and vocalist Jayne got the audience singing along.
Jayne said: “It was great. The atmosphere in the church was lovely. Thanks to all for coming.”
St Faith’s vicar Melanie Crowley added: “Everyone had a great time.”
