A drug dealer who was caught in Stevenage with a massive stash of crack cocaine has been jailed for three years.

Shayden Daley, from Lewisham in south London, was found with 57 wraps of crack – weighing a total of 5.05g – as well as 29 wraps of diamorphine, weighing 2.72g in all.

The 22-year-old also had £470 in cash with him when he was arrested on April 3 this year. He pleaded guilty to all counts when he appeared before magistrates on September 29.

Passing judgement on Daley at St Albans Crown Court on Friday, Judge Graham Arran sentenced him to concurrent three-year jail terms for all the offences.

At the time of the crimes, Daley was already subject to a 12-month conditional discharge imposed in August 2016 for possession of cocaine. He admitted breaching this order.
