For many past pupils of St. Paul's Walden School on Friday, October 20, when a group of 160 met in the old school room, now the Bailey Hawkins Room of the Village Hall to remember old times, share memories and photos and enjoy a buffet supper together. In the last few years they saw old school chums at funerals and it was at Dan Hunt's back in the summer that Brenda Martin, Ken Brown, Robin Wells, Reg Fullerton and Peter Marshall decided they would like to meet on a happier note before they too popped their clogs as Brenda put it.
