A fire investigation has been launched after firefighters were called this morning to rescue a person from a blaze.
Crews from Stevenage and Baldock attended Cleveland Way in Stevenage just after 8am.
On arrival they found a fire on the second floor in the bathroom with the rest of the house smoked logged.
One person was rescued by the fire service but did not require hospital treatment.
Crew left the scene by 8.35am.
