POLICE are investigating an incident where a man was allegedly threatened with a hand gun. The incident happened at the Sainsbury s car park in Bells Brook, Biggleswade, a week ago last Sunday. Police say two men were involved in a heated row at around 8.

POLICE are investigating an incident where a man was allegedly threatened with a hand gun.

The incident happened at the Sainsbury's car park in Bells Brook, Biggleswade, a week ago last Sunday.

Police say two men were involved in a heated row at around 8.30pm when one of them drew a weapon.

The men were then involved in a scuffle in which both suffered minor injuries.

The man involved in the altercation, say police, who drew the gun, picked it up and drove off in a green Vauxhall Corsa.

A man was later arrested at an address in Bedford where a blank firing handgun was found.

Police are now appealing for anyone who was in the car park at the Sainsbury's store in Bells Brook at around the time of the incident to contact them immediately.
