An inquest will be opened shortly into the death of a man whose body was found in woodland in Stevenage on Monday.
Hertfordshire Coroner’s Court has opened a file for 29-year-old Michael Quinlan, who was found dead on Monday morning in woodland next to Fairlands Valley Showground.
Police were initially called to reports of concern for a man’s welfare, but later confirmed a body had been found.
An inquest will be opened in due course.
Inquests are routinely held to determine the cause of death when it occurs in unexplained circumstances, but police said at the time it was not being treated as suspicious.
