With a programme of events and activities in the UK and worldwide; and in July the world will come to the UK for the 21st World Scout Jamboree, the highlight of the World Scouting calendar which is being held at Hylands Park in Essex. To start the celebrations Hitchin Scouts need your help. This Saturday from 10am they will be in the Market Place collecting signatures of Scouts past and present. A special Centenary Book has been established to record in it the signature of everyone in Hitchin who has ever been in Scouting. At 3pm 100 balloons will be released to launch the celebrations for 2007. For further information please call 0845 0946031.
