Images have been released of jewellery that was stolen during a burglary.
The incident occurred on Friday, May 2 between 9.30am and 5.30pm at a house in Willian Way, Letchworth GC when thieves smashed a glass back door of a house and removed a large quantity of Asian jewellery.
Detective constable Steve Cook, who is investigating, said: “Not only are the items taken worth thousands of pounds they are of sentimental value to the victims who are understandably keen for them to be returned.
“If you believe you have seen or been offered any of these items for sale then please contact me with information.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Steve Cook via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number G2/14/821. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
