An image of a man has been released by police who wish to speak to him in connection with an attempted burglary.

The picture was taken by a resident in Hillside Close, Shillington, following an attempted burglary in the road on Friday, January 10,

The man pictured is described as white, in his late 20s to early 30s, 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, of slim build, with short dark hair and some stubble on his face.

He was wearing a black zip-up coat with large pockets at the front, black tracksuit bottoms with three white stripes down the side, black leather work boots and spoke with a local accent.
