THERE was traffic chaos in Stevenage today as blockages on two roads caused major delays. Valley Way was closed one way from Six Hills Way to Hydean Way after a car got stuck and temporarily blocked the road. The police attended and closed the road at 8.4
THERE was traffic chaos in Stevenage today as blockages on two roads caused major delays.
Valley Way was closed one way from Six Hills Way to Hydean Way after a car got stuck and temporarily blocked the road. The police attended and closed the road at 8.45am because of ice patches, and the Highways Agency was called to re-grit the road. Valley Way reopened at 9.50am.
Chells Way was also blocked because of a road traffic crash outside the doctor's surgery but has now reopened. An ambulance attended the scene but there were no major injuries.
The traffic has been heavy with many people returning to work today.
