NEWBORN lambs are a sign that spring is definitely here, despite the current cold snap.
There are now a few more mouths to feed at Standalone Farm, on Wilbury Road in Letchworth GC, as farm manager Andrew Milich gets acquainted with newborn lambs that are just a few days old. Standalone Farm re-opened for the season in early March and will be open seven days a week until September 30. The community working farm is open from 11am until 5pm. Entrance is £4.30 for adults, £3.30 for children or senior citizens, £1.50 for people registered disabled and free for children under two.
