Wayne, 29, hasn’t been seen since Thursday, April 6, and concern for his welfare has been growing day by day.

Police have been carrying out a number of lines of enquiry – including phone work and helicopter searches – but there has been no sighting of Wayne since he was reported missing.

And Det Insp Janine Graham has today released a video appeal on YouTube, in which she addresses Wayne directly.

In the video, she said: “Wayne, if you’re watching this video or you’ve seen any of our appeals, I urge you to get in contact with me.

“Please get in touch with me on 101. We can meet at a discreet location or somewhere where you feel comfortable.

“I also urge any members of the public that have seen Wayne or know of his whereabouts to make contact with me on 101.

“Again, Wayne, you’re not in any trouble – I just want to know that you’re OK.”

Wayne is described as a slim white man, around 5ft 8in tall, with brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue top, blue work wear trousers, and black trainers. He is also believed to have had a blue hooded top with him from his place of work, Henlow-based NG Bruce Plastering.

Anyone with information about Wayne is asked to contact Beds police on 101 quoting reference MPC/765/17.
