Police are appealing for help to catch a thief who stole a purse from a Hitchin kebab shop over the weekend.
Offices want to speak with a heavily-built blond man in his 30s after a person fitting his description took a purse from a woman in Hitchin Best Kebab in Nightingale Road just after 3am on Saturday morning.
The man lifted the purse from the woman’s open handbag she was carrying on her shoulder and ran off along Nightingale Road towards Dacre Road.
