A collection of watches worth thousands of pounds has been stolen in a Hitchin burglary.
Police released these photos of the high-end timepieces today as part of their investigation into the crime which took place in the Walsworth area of the town between 11.30am and 8.10pm on February 12. A door was forced in the burglary.
The watches stolen include a Rolex Submariner (serial 16610 E852546), a Rolex Sea Dweller (Z631417), an Omega 006 Sea Master (78105903), an Oris in silver and a Tag Heur in orange and yellow.
Dc Laura Talbot from the Hitchin Local Crime Unit said: “These watches are worth a lot of money and I am confident that the offender or offenders will have attempted to sell these watches on. I would appeal to anyone with any information about the whereabouts of these items, anyone who believes they have seen these items for sale or been offered them for sale to contact me.”
If you can help, call Dc Talbot on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting crime reference number G1/12/290.
