HUNDREDS of cannabis plants have been destroyed after police were called to an industrial estate.
Police officers were called to Parsons Green Estate in Stevenage last night after a member of public smelt cannabis from a disused unit. On arrival, police found 500 cannabis plants. The plants were later destroyed.
Two men from Luton, both aged 25 have been arrested in connection with the incident. Both men have been bailed and will appear at Stevenage Police Station on August 3.
