The Royal British Legion Hitchin Branch: Will hold their next meeting on Monday, September 4, at 8pm in the Paynes Park HQ. After the usual business the evening will finish with a quiz. New members are welcome. As part of this year's Poppy Appeal the Branch is holding a Last Night of the Proms with Hitchin Band at Westmill Community Centre on Saturday, September 23, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 and are available from 01462 431628.
