MORE than 70 jobs will be created for the opening of a £3million nightclub.

Liquid Envy, formerly Pulse and Vogue, based at Stevenage Leisure Park, will open on Friday, October 20, after having millions ploughed into it.

The club is now recruiting for roles which range from glass collectors to managerial posts.

The 1,200 capacity Liquid will target anyone over 18 years old while the smaller site, Envy, will cater for the over 23s.

Liquid will have a 360 degree projection and video surround capable of displaying "total immersion" music videos and visual effects.

General manager Zane Graham Woods said: "We will have the best facilities and the ability to bring customers top DJs, PAs and entertainment from all over the world.

"We are investing heavily into the entire Liquid Envy experience to give our customers something to shout about and go away thinking that there's nowhere that does it as big or better than Liquid Envy.

"Within the £3m investment is a new VIP room which will be used by visiting celebrities, performers and special guests, with a total capacity of 250.
