THERE’S still time to spend a few hours in Letchworth GC’s very own Big Brother-styled house in a trip back to the 1970s and 80s.

Letchworth Arts Centre is looking for people to spend eight hours in an empty shop unit in Leys Avenue while surrounded by gadgets from the two decades.

The social experiment, which starts on Monday and runs until October 22, will take place during the day-time with passers-by able to take a peek.

The project is a precursor to a festival of all things 70s and 80s in Broadway Gardens on November 17 and 18, entitled Now That’s What I Call a Recession.

To sign up for a stint in the house, contact Sam Alexander at Letchworth Arts Centre via Facebook, email info@letchwortharts.org, phone 01462 670788 or visit the arts centre in The Arcade, Letchworth GC.
