The health body which runs Stevenage’s Lister Hospital has issued an open invitation to its annual meeting.

The East and North Herts NHS Trust hopes people will want to find out more about how it operates and the services it provides.

The meeting is being held this year in the University of Hertfordshire’s Weston Auditorium on the de Havilland Campus in Hatfield on Tuesday, July 14. There’s an open session from 5pm with the chance to talk to hospital teams and other organisations, followed by formal presentations at 6.30pm.

Chief executive Nick Carver said: “We’re aiming to get some 450 people to come along, making it one of the biggest to be held anywhere in the NHS.”
