AN AFFORDABLE housing development looks set to be located on a brownfield site.
North Hertfordshire Homes (NHH) is proposing to develop the former site of the Murco garage, on the junction of Pelican Way and Southfields in Letchworth GC.
The proposed development will provide 18 new homes - 12 flats and six houses - and some of the properties will be available for shared ownership.
The homes will be built using the latest technology to ensure they are energy efficient and will help reduce utility bills for residents.
NHH is hoping to submit planning applications soon to North Hertfordshire District Council.
