With the Coca-Cola Christmas truck in Baldock this afternoon, holidays are definitely coming – and young and old alike have come out to enjoy the fun.

The truck roadshow outside Tesco Extra in the High Street has been packed out since it opened at 1pm, and it’s set to go on until 9pm – with a special Christmas animation beamed onto the truck’s side later on.

Free 150ml cans of Coke, Diet Coke or Coke Zero Sugar are being given out, though a Coca-Cola spokeswoman has told the Comet no cans will be given to under-12s unless parents or guardians are on hand and agree.

Aside from photos with the truck and free Coke drinks, fun on offer includes a penalty shootout, fairground stalls, a merry-go-round and more.

And the visitors included Year 2 children from St Mary’s Infant School in St Mary’s Way, who happily posed for photos with the lorry.
