A youth club is under threat because not enough adults can be found as helpers.

Biggleswade Youth Club will be closed tonight (Thursday, October 5) because two helpers are on holiday.

But club co-ordinator Jo Todd says the club might have to close for a month unless more adult volunteers are found.

"We are hoping during the next two weeks a few more volunteers will come forward to help otherwise the club will have to stay closed longer than expected which would be a shame because we have had such a good influx of new members recently," said Mrs Todd.

"We are hoping some parents might like to get involved with the club which would be a great help.

"It is really urgent that we get helpers otherwise we might have to close the club longer than is necessary."

Anyone who wishes to help the club should call Jo on 07921 214594.
