Present a Memorial Concert on Saturday at St Mary's Church commencing at 7.30pm when a choir of over 100 voices and a number of well known local soloists will present selected choruses and solos from Handel's Messiah. The concert is dedicated to the memory of the late Arthur Warne, president of Hitchin Thespians for the last 15 years. Justin Thomas will conduct the concert with Audrey Jenkins, organ and John Edwards, piano. Tickets priced £5 can be purchased from Hitchin Thespians box office 01462 641575, Hitchin Initiative, 27 Churchyard or Lucy Miller-White Optometrists 103c Bancroft or on the door. All profits from the concert will be divided between Macmillan Cancer Relief and The Prostate Cancer Charity.
