Woodside hall in Hitchin was damaged on Friday when a tree smashed through the roof.
High winds toppled the tree which made a hole in the roof and damaged the ceiling of the hall which is the home of Hitchin Thespians.
Chairman of the society, Lucy Miller-White, said: "I'm sure we'll get it fixed soon as we have our final rehearsal for The Music Man on the third of March before opening night on the eighth of March.
