Sixteen-year-old Rebecca Turner, who goes to Hitchin Girls’ School, had her head shaved for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of her gran – who died in 2014 after a fight with breast cancer – and her uncle Pete, who died from leukaemia when he was just 15.
Rebecca braved the shave at her school on Monday at about lunchtime.

Her hair will go to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which makes and provides wigs to young people up to the age of 24 who have lost hair because of cancer or other diseases.
“Macmillan is such an amazing cause and all the money I have raised will benefit them hugely,” said Rebecca.
