The murder trial of two men accused of killing a teenager who died from a stab wound to the heart is set to start today (Wednesday).
Micah Urquhart, who grew up in Hitchin and attended The John Henry Newman School in Stevenage, was found by a member of the public injured in Hastings Street in Luton, where he lived, on September 13 last year.
Police attended the scene and administered first aid before paramedics arrived, but the 19-year-old died at the scene.
Waqar Younis, 19, of Queens Close in Luton, and Paul Lynham, 18, of Midland Road in Luton, were both charged with Mr Urquhart’s murder. They are due to appear before Luton Crown Court today (Wednesday), when the trial is expected to start.
