Visitors to the Specsavers store in Hitchin can follow in the footsteps of Gok Wan and other celebrities who have been modelling the silly specs and make their faces funny for money.
Store director Huw Griffiths said: ‘We’ve got loads of activities planned in Hitchin.
“The team have been really excited to get involved in all the fundraising and they’ve had a lot of fun planning for this – we hope that the community will get behind us.”
As well as the exclusive comedy glasses, staff are planning a jumble sale and have also been holding in store dress down days and bake sales.
They will be wrapping up their fundraising efforts by getting funky in a 1980s themed day of fun and entertainment tomorrow, and clocking up the miles on a stationary bike.
